Dear Dad,

There are so many memories I have growing up where you were my hero..... building me a sandbox, teaching me how to go sledding, pulling my loose tooth......pulling a splinter out of my toe... teaching me how to ride a bike with no training wheels, editing my english writing assignments..... driving me to school, and.... walking me down the aisle......
I am so grateful for all you have done and continue to do to be my personal "Little Girl's Hero" I Love you! Happy Birthday! I hope you enjoy this website!

June 16th ~ Happy Father's Day!
Thanks Dad for being the head of our family..... for setting a good example.... for offering guidance... for always making us feel loved! You are such a blessing to all of us!

Rodney and I would like to thank you for being such an inspiration to us; a model of happiness, contentment and being 'at peace' with yourself and the world...even when things may not be exactly as we had planned or hoped. I know from growing up with you as an example, Dad that some times the simplest things in life are the most beautiful, and that what matters most in the end is having, giving, and sharing love with one another! So on this Father's Day, know that you are very much loved, admired, and respected.
Love Always,
Your 'Big' Little Girl :)
Love Always,
Your 'Big' Little Girl :)
And, to fill you in on what's been going on in our lives.
Here are some updates from the last few weeks:
Ernie fell in the pool.... AGAIN! but we did learn that he knows how to swim.... who cares if it's the 'doggie paddle' Ernie did it with his usual 'feline grace'
We have been working on some home improvements......

Here is Rodney at work prepping the porch ceiling for painting. We discovered the outdoor ceiling is covered in indoor ceiling texture, which apparently doesn't pressure-clean well :( So, after a few hours of prepping and patching, we ended up with this.....
But here she is in all her glory! Our new and improved Lanai.... so come on over for morning coffee soon!
Our 'Jude the Obscure' Rose
Our Iceberg Rose after the rain....
And while this is not the original, this is the cousin of the deer who ate them.
Actually, she's kind of cute, and all I can say is that I hope our roses tasted as wonderful as they smelled.... :)
Last, the DOUBLE rainbow we saw earlier this month.....

Just a reminder of how beautiful the world can be. Happy Father's Day!
